
Riznica soloists who will sing for you in this concert are:
Jessica Bernhardt, Gordana Stojanovic, Nonie Bernard, Dinah Majure, Marilyn Marusich, Nickolas Kasovac and Lazo Mihajlovich.
Cabaret was an annual fundraiser both for Circle of Serbian Sisters and Riznica Chamber Choir. Proceeds went to St Sava church for painting frescoes and to Riznica choir fund for presenting Serbian culture trough an opera performance.

Artistic Director: Jana Minov
Dr. Jana Minov, is the artistic director and a co-founder of Riznica Choir. She comes from Belgrade in Serbia, the Balkans. This is an area of origin of the most music the choir sings. Read more about Jana here...
Congratulations to Jana Minov for successful performance of a Serbian opera for her doctoral recital concert, in Katzin Hall, ASU School of Music, on February 20th! Riznica choir was happy to be a part of this performance as "Choir of Peasants".

| The end of Riznica's season 2009/2010 was crowned with a Cabaret program! Riznica singers have decided to entertain the audience with their rich musical talents and to perform all kind of different music: from opera and musicals to jazz and popular music. The audience had opportunity to see and hear a duet from Phantom in the Opera, a duet from Chess, trio from musical Mamma Mia, group scene from opera Carmen, and many more...

Rhythm of Balkans
Several hundred enjoyed the concerts of choral music of Balkan region at the end of February 2010. The Balkan peninsula region is rich with history and it is the place where many cultures interlace: from Ancient Greece to modern Hungary, via several Slavic nations - Serbs, Macedonians, Bulgarian, Croats and others. All of the music heritage has very complicated and abundant rhythm, like 7/8, 9/8, and similar. This concert was an opportunity for American audience to enjoy choral music with all of these unusual rhythms. For more info go to Concerts
Riznica has featured Dr. Radmila Stojanovic-Kiriluk, pianist in our past concert: Rhythm of the Balkans. Dr Stojanovic-Kiriluk is known for her research work in Serbian/Balkan ethno and classical music and for its inspirational performance. She has published a book entitled Piano Music of Marko Tajcevic edited by Dr Verlag Muller, and also a CD of Tajcevic’s complete piano music released by Toccata Classic Company. Radmila earned her DMA degree in piano performance at ASU. She will perform not only Tajcevic’s music, but will also premiere a work of Bela Bartok. You can find more about Radmila here.
